Ethics and Sustainabilty

"Living more sustainably isn't a hippy thing, it's a survival thing"

The hard truth is there is not such thing as 100% sustainable fashion but there are certainly ways that clothing can be more sustainable. We are committed to minimising our impact and are always looking for ways to improve (if you have a suggestion for us please get in touch!)

Our collection is produced both in house and offshore.
Unfortunately the factory that handles our offshore production does not hold any certifications as it is not standard practice in Bali at this stage. However the factories we work with are subject to the following criteria:
-No child labour

-Above minimum wage
-Holidays and sick leave included
-Flexible time for working families

We choose to use only natural fibres in our collection, particularly those that have a low environmental impact, are safe for those who produce them and can be disposed of responsibly at the end of their life cycle.
Our printed fabrics are produced using digital printing, a water and pollutant free process unlike traditional screen printing that uses exorbitant amounts of water, and discharges chemical in to water ways.

We don't include any extra branding material with your order, or print out picking slips or invoices to cut down on single use waste.
All orders are shipped in compostable mailers. To compost them at home, it’s best to remove any labels, cut them up and place in your compost bin as “brown” materials. These will completely break down within 90-120 days in a home-compostable environment. To find out more click here
